To act on behalf of such radio operators in matters vital to the attaining and retention of their rights.
To become a nationally incorporated body in order to defend the maintenance of currently used frequencies if necessary.
To liaise between radio operators and Government.
To obtain improved conditions governing radio operations.
To keep members informed of the progress of the Association.
To promote public interest in the aims and objects of the Association.
To set standards for radio operators and issue awards and certificates of merit.
