WANTED - HISTORY OF SYD07 (Pennant Hills, N.S.W.) UHF CB REPEATER

Tom B., licencee of SYD07, is interested to know if anyone has any information on the history of SYD07. It was the first UHF CB repeater (possibly in the world), but details are sketchy. Tom also suggests that it would be interesting to have some detail about what Philips were trying to achieve with this repeater in those early days and about how it was thought to be a huge risk for them at the time. A time line of it's movement of sites over the years would also be sought. Any information anyone had would be greatly appreciated and would be included on the "UHF CHANNEL SYD 07" web site located at http://uhf07.nextpage.com.au
