An Association of Citizens Band UHF operators formed in 1992 to formerly construct and then own and operate Encounter Coast UHF Repeater 3. The area serviced by the repeater covers Mannum, Murray Bridge, Strathalbyn and Tailem Bend to the north east and east, Meningie, the Lakes and Coorong to the south east, and locally the Encounter Coast towns of Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, and Goolwa.
Due to the geographic location of the repeater, it does not access the Adelaide area, and only limited access is available to the north and west, mainly because of the undulating nature of the Fleurieu Peninsula and the Southern Mt Lofty Ranges.
Membership of the Association is open to all UHF operators for a yearly membership fee of $20:00.
